INGLEWOOD (CBSLA) – More tickets for this weekend’s BTS concert at SoFi Stadium were released on Friday, but some fans were less than thrilled at the surprise opportunity to see their beloved boy group in person.
Tickets for the band’s quartet of shows that start this Thanksgiving weekend have been sold out for months. But that changed abruptly on Friday morning, sending some fans scrambling.

âDue to production releases, additional tickets are available for BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE LA,â a notice said on the show’s Ticketmaster page. “Due to the limited number of tickets available, a number of verified fans previously on the waiting list were randomly selected to receive codes to purchase from this late ticket release.”

Fans who initially couldn’t purchase tickets were forced to make other plans, like purchasing tickets for the BTS Live Play at the adjacent YouTube Theater. The surprise release forced fans who managed to buy tickets to then sell Live Play tickets. Other fans were less than happy that so many tickets were kept until the day before Saturday’s first show.
why did ticketmaster keep SO MANY tickets a day before the gig and why do you need a code to get them and how no one knew. pic.twitter.com/iHxDDMWPGg

@Ticketmaster can you free more BTS tickets for a verified ARMY fan? Some of us didn’t even get a chance to buy during the presale because you have withheld so many tickets.@TMFanSupport#BTSTickets #PTD_ON_STAGE_LA #btsconcertLA

Still, this dissatisfaction does not seem to have dampened enthusiasm for the group. A long, winding queue of BTS fans has been spotted in an Inglewood parking lot, waiting to purchase official band merchandise ahead of this weekend’s shows.
