Check your suitcases, beach bags: BC lottery ticket worth $15 million still unclaimed


Someone in British Columbia could be the province’s new millionaire – if they ever decide to check an old lottery ticket.

This week, the BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) said time is running out for a winning lottery ticket worth $15 million.

The Lotto Max ticket was drawn last August and someone in Vancouver was lucky enough to pick the correct numbers. However, the expiration date of the ticket is midnight on August 13, 2022.

“BCLC encourages players who purchased a ticket for the August 13, 2021 draw in Vancouver to check their tickets for the winning number: 1-14-17-20-28-32-38,” the lottery company said in A press release. Release.

The lottery company says people should check everywhere for this ticket, including beach bags, suitcases and glove boxes.

BCLC says all lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the date of the draw printed on their ticket to come forward and claim their prize.

To date, the BCLC says BC lottery players have withdrawn more than $64 million from Lotto Max this year.
