The National Lottery has revealed that Saturday night’s winning Lotto jackpot ticket worth €8,508,720 has been sold in a south Kilkenny town.
But bosses said further details of where the jackpot ticket will be sold will be released in the coming days as they gave no further information.
Meanwhile, the winning Lotto Plus One ticket worth €1million has been sold in the picturesque seaside town of Dungarvan in County Waterford.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Friday, May 6.
Again, the location of the winning store has not been disclosed and is expected to be confirmed tomorrow, Tuesday, May 10.
The Waterford winner became the sixth Lotto Plus One top prize winner in 2022 after wins at Dublin (two), Wexford, Cork and Louth.
The National Lottery has continued to call on Kilkenny and Waterford players to check their tickets carefully from Saturday night’s draw as two players now have tickets worth €8,508,720 and €1m .

The two biggest wins in Saturday night’s draw took the National Lottery’s number of millionaires for the year to date to a total of 18.
