Tickets for a much-loved and popular special Christmas service at a North Yorkshire railway have gone on sale – here’s how much they cost.
Despite scorching temperatures in the North East today and many enjoying the heat wave, some will look to the festive season.
With just 19 weeks until Christmas, some people will be looking to show up early for popular holiday-themed events across the region.
Tickets for the popular North Yorkshire Moors Railway Santa Special services went on sale yesterday.
The event sees the return of Santa Claus and his team of elves for magical journeys for the whole family aboard the famous Santa Express.

Special services will be provided four times a day on December 3, 4, 10, 11 and 17-24.
Guests can board at Pickering or Grosmont Station and enjoy a Christmas experience with Mr. Claus and his helpers.
Tickets for the highly anticipated event usually sell out quickly, so it’s best to start early with reservations.

How much does a ticket cost?
For adults and children, a ticket will cost you £30, but includes a gift and a backpack for each child.
