The memoirs of actress Valerie Bertinelli, which will soon be published, Enough already: learning to love as I am today, is slated for release in early 2022. In the meantime, the Food Network star has taken care of recording the book’s narration. Posting on social media recently, she shared the experience with fans, noting that she was slowing production thanks to her growling stomach – and tears.
Bertinelli announced his next memoir earlier this year
Appearing on Today in July it opened about Already enough, her memoir due for publication in early 2022. In the book, Bertinelli told the morning show, she details the issues that have followed her in her professional and personal life and her decision to end the auto -negative persuasion: “Enough already with us beating, isn’t it?”
“It’s a very, very personal book”, the old One day at a time said the star. “My journey has taken me to… I don’t want to fight anymore. And I know so many women my age, younger, older, we’re so busy fighting that we just don’t find the love, wonder, and grace that’s really in us.
She added that writing the memoirs was not an easy task as she vulnerablely shared painful memories and emotions. But it was worth it, Bertinelli said, if it helps readers.
“I’ve written about the past two years: heartbreak, happiness, joy, finding joy, and I hope it touches some people’s lives,” she said. “It was really difficult writing for me, but it was cathartic.” The recipes will also be a memoir, which makes sense given that Bertinelli is a TV cook and an Emmy Award winner.
The narration of his audiobook had some hiccups
The actor recently posted on social media that she was working on the narration of the audiobook version of Already enough, and it was not without interruptions.
“My stomach is making a lot of noise” Bertinelli said with humor in a video tweet of herself sitting with her book manuscript in front of her on a stand and a pillow in her lap. “It’s gurgling, so I have to put this pillow on and I hope that will muffle the sound of my gurgling.” Because it slows us down. I have to take a break every time my stomach growls.
On Instagram, Bertinelli added more seriously that telling her book became moving for her, saying in her message: “I am NOT crying; You’re crying !! Between my tears, my noisy stomach and my dry throat… I will say that recording the audio version of my new book #EnoughAlready was a journey in itself! One more step further! In the same post, the Valérie’s home cooking star said in another video segment, “Day two. Let’s see if I can go through this day without crying.
Bertinelli fans cheered her on
React to the old Hot for Cleveland The star’s honesty and humor, Bertinelli fans have rooted for her with encouraging comments on Instagram.
“I’m waiting for you to finish recording, then I’ll run it through Audible,” one fan said. “It was really nice to listen to your first two books. I felt like you were telling me the story compared to myself reading it.
Another supporter reminded the actor, “It’s one thing to write a trip, but it’s another to hear your own voice say it. Brave girl, keep focusing on what’s really important to you.
Already enough is scheduled for January 18, 2022.
